Art, maths, music, writing, reading, sports, technology was all based around Ancient Grease. At the end of the topic the class celebrated with a Ancient Greek feast where they ate traditional food, performed plays, read stories and so on based on that topic. The learning was more powerful because the students had taken ownership and driven the project. Hi there Jess, I can see that your digital fluency is being turbocharged and I can see in your teaching practice that you are using lots of this learning already. Well done. you're a star & an early adopter of these tools for learning.
ReplyDeleteKia ora Jess,
ReplyDeleteIt was so lovely to see you online again today. Well done for making the most of continuing your learning during this unusual time. It looks l like there was a lot to cover on this YouTube / Create week! I'm so excited you got to hear from Anne - she's a stellar practitioner! I wonder if you have created a YouTube playlist that you will use to help support learning with your kids? It would be great to hear how you'll use it.
I notice you're talking about images and when to use different types. I think maybe the one you're referring to is a PNG... this is when it has a translucent background so is great for layering. Have you had a go at creating buttons for your site today as this is the best place to use PNG - when you're searching for free to use images in the Explore Tool to add to your buttons. I'm excited to see your blog post today... half way! Well done! What was your favourite learning from today?
All the best,
Amie
